How to handle selective waste in Ericsson House
We would like to inform You about the possibilities of selective waste handling in Ericsson House.
In the building You can collect the following waste in a selective way which has to be placed in the bins in washed and clean condition in each case and as possible to throw out always in crushed and folded condition to occupy less space.
General waste - those kind of office environment waste, which can not be moved to the categories listed below, are not considered hazardous waste and re-use in the future is not possible. You can find these bins in the office areas in every kitchenette, in every elevator lobby, in downstairs on the warming-dining room (Heating & eat), at the post office and in building on minus 1 floor elevator lobby.
Plastic waste - these can be the followings: PET mineral water/soft drinks, milk and yoghurt bottles, rinsed and detached domestic bottles cap, pouches, packaging films, etc. Do not throw Styrofoam, CD/DVD, other data medium and other plastics considered to be waste (e.g. nylons). You can find these bins in every kitchenette, in every elevator lobby, in downstairs on the warming-dining room (Heating & eat), at the post office and in building on every minus floor elevator lobby.
Paper waste - these can be the followings: newspapers, books, corrugated cardboard, wrapping paper, cartons, paper cups, cans (TetraPak). You can find these bins in every Copy room, kitchenette, in every elevator lobby (office and parking area), in downstairs on the warming-dining room (Heating & eat), and at the post office. We kindly ask You to place the drink cans and paper cups always in washed condition into the containers.
Battery - these can be the followings: discharged battery, cell phone accu. Do not throw: rechargeable accu, car accu and other electronic waste. You can find this bin on -1st floor in elevator lobby (both sides).
Glass - these can be the followings: glasses and other bottles. Do not throw: mirrors, light bulbs, neon tube, glasses, magnifying glass, ceramics, wine and other bottles from home and porcelain. You can find this bin on -1st floor in elevator lobby (both sides).
Alu can - these can be the followings: empty soft drink bottles and cans. Do not throw: other aluminum and metal waste. You can find this bin on -1st floor in elevator lobby (both sides).
Electronic waste - these can be the followings: broken electrical devices (lights, mobile phones without battery, computing device), cables and connectors. Do not throw: light bulb, accu of mobilephones and other accumulators. If you would throw out these types of waste please contact us on www.coorservicedesk.hu/ website.
Confidential paper document - Secrecy Container - these can be documents that are confidential but became superfluous. Their selective collection and disposal is important especially for information security reasons. We kindly ask You to not throw CD/DVD in them. You can find these Secrecy Container bins in every Copy room.
Empty aerosol bottle - these can be the followings: empty aerosol bottles which can be used in technical room and in work office environment. These can be: contact spray, air spray. Do not throw: empty deodorant, home-use aerosol cans. If you would throw out these types of waste, please contact us on www.coorservicedesk.hu/ website.
CD/DVD disposer - we kindly ask You to not throw the case of the CD/DVD into the disposer. You can find the shredder on the 1st floor, South in Copy Room.
Used toner cartridge - DXC and its subcontractors are responsible for its collection and dispatch. You can find them on the Walk-in Center (1st floor). DXC does not deal with your private ink or toner cartridges taken from home.
In the bins listed above You can put waste accumulated essentially in the office area. We kindly ask You to not bring in and put into the bins any waste accumulated at your household (including also edible oil and fat, paints, inks, adhesives, resins, solvents, pesticides, discarded household electrical and electronic equipment, car accumulators, expired medicines and waste that are potentially infectious medical waste, syringes).
